Gerald Parks

Gerald Parks of Cape Charles, Virginia, passed away on March 15, 2026, at the age of 92. His vibrant spirit and warm presence left a lasting impression on all who knew him, and his family and friends will feel his absence deeply.

He was predeceased by his parents, Norman Parks and Oneita Archie Parks; his son, Stephen Lee Parks; and his brother, Everett Parks. Gerald is survived by his wife, Eula Mae Doughty; his daughter, Brenda Lynn Parks; his sister, Janice Hylton of Utah; and his nieces and nephews, Sharon Caporella, Joe Caporella (Diane) of Pennsylvania, Nicky Parks, Randy Hylton (Trish) of Suffolk, Scott Hylton, David Hylton (Brenda) of Colorado, Matthew Hylton (Wendy) of Hampton, and Elizabeth Harris (Matthew) of Utah. He also leaves behind dear friends Sidney and Myriam Downing, Rudy and Alice Brady, George Rams, Nancy Bunce, Jim and Mary, Taylor Grey, and Wink Wesberry Frendig and Chuck Frendig.

Throughout his long life, Gerald remained a steadfast and caring figure to those closest to him, cherished for his genuine kindness and the quiet strength he brought to his family and friendships.
