Gerald Lloyd Wyrick

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Lloyd Wyrick of Paris, Tennessee, who passed away on March 8, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Estel Wyrick and Lura Borton Wyrick; and his siblings, Leola Merillat, Robert and Ed Wyrick.

He is survived by: his children, Linda McCellan (Kevin) of Edgerton, Ohio, Randy Wyrick (Rhonda) of Shepherdsville, Christopher McKennie (Pam) of Paris and Jeffrey McKennie (Karen) of Harvest, Alabama; and his brothers, Estel Wyrick, Jr. (Mary Ellen) of Edon and Duane Wyrick (Phyllis) of Sandusky, Ohio. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McEvoy Funeral Home (507 W Washington St, Paris, TN 38242). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
