Gerald L Sena, age 58 went to be with His Lord and Savior on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Dallas, TX. Gerald was born on October 7, 1967 in Fort Sumner, NM, the son of Mariano and Romana Sena. Gerald attended school in Fort Sumner, NM where he also helped with the family snack bar, "The Stand." He worked alongside his father for several years as a carpenter in building construction before branching out on his own, building a reputation for his incredibly hard work ethic and dedication to excellence.Gerald married Sarah Koll on August 1, 1998 in Fort Sumner. Gerald was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching football and basketball with his family and supporting the Foxes, many of whom he trained in weight lifting and strength conditioning. Gerald was a loving husband, caring father and brother, and loyal friend whose joy was serving the Lord and devoting his time to prayer and reading The Word. Gerald was passionate about supporting his sons in their activities, weight lifting and occasionally eating banana splits and rocky road ice cream at Braum's.Survivors include his wife of 27 years Sarah Sena of the home in Clovis; two sons, Ezra and Noah, sister Dorothy Pacheco (Paul), brother Richard Sena (Gloria), and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.Gerald is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Tim Sena, Michael Sena, and Sam Sena, three sisters: an infant Dorothy Sena, Betty Sena, and Cecilia Sena, and a nephew Chris Sena.Viewing for friends and family will be from 1pm to 6pm on Friday, March 13, 2026 at Chavez Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at The Church on the Hill with Pastor Richard Terrell and Pastor James Padilla of Ancla Church (Clovis) officiating. Burial will follow in the Sena family plot, Fort Sumner Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Paul Pacheco, Josh Pacheco, George Romero, Ponche Griego, Wes Wall, and Micah Lyssy. Honorary bearers will be his many friends, The Church on The Hill church members, and Ancla Church (Clovis) members.The family prefers memorials be made to the Memorial Fund c/o Ancla Church 320 Pile Street Clovis, NM 88101 in memory of Gerald L.
