Gerald David Catton

Gerald “Jerry” David Catton, 72, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas, passed away on March 13, 2026, in Salem, Arkansas.

Born in Peoria, Illinois, on December 13, 1953, to Floyd and Jessie (Loveless) Catton, Jerry served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He later worked as a steel worker. On June 18, 1982, he married Jackie Sue Meis in Peoria, Illinois. Jerry found joy in traveling and boating, and he loved spending time in his shop tinkering and making things. He and Jackie were devoted snowbirds, spending their winters in Yuma, Arizona. He was a man of the Catholic faith.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Jackie, of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas; his daughter, Mindy Eden (Blaine), of Herriman, Utah; and his grandchildren, Emma Eden and Dane Eden.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
