Georgianna Morrissey

In loving memory of Georgianna Morrissey of Dalton, Massachusetts, who departed this world on March 7, 2026 at the age of 81. Georgianna leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Dingman and Gertrude Dingman; her brother Robert Keach; and her granddaughters, Sara and Mary Chrostowski.

She is survived by: her husband Peter Morrissey; her children, Pamela Chrostowski (Les) and Michael Morrissey (Chris); her grandchildren, Geoffrey Chrostowski (Shay), Matthew Chrostowski (Marcie), Rubecca Arvis (Murat) and Zackary Morrissey; her great grandchildren, Landon Chrostowski, Layne Chrostowski and Kelly Chrostowski; and her grandchild Peyton Chrostowski.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dwyer-Wellington Funeral Home (525 Main St, Dalton, MA 01226). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Agnes Church (489 Main St, Dalton, MA 01226).

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the St. Agnes Food Pantry, that which she ran for 30 years, in care of the Dwyer-Wellington Funeral Home.
