Georgia Walker

Georgia Walker, born on May 30, 1971, in Danville, Virginia, to the late George Thomas and Mary Frances Womack Adams, passed away on the morning of March 5, 2026. A graduate of Dan River High School in the Pittsylvania County School System, she was last employed at Dorda Foods in Reidsville, North Carolina. She was a longtime member of Baptist Christian Fellowship Ministries and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend whose warmth touched everyone around her.

In addition to her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by five children: Jeremy, Jessica, and Brian Adams, Cordero Walker, and Timothy White; and two sisters, Rosemary Oliver and Elaine Davis.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Frankie Walker; her son, Frankie Walker; her granddaughter, Jakira Walker; two sisters, Della M. Stone and Teresa A. Adams; two brothers, Richard V. Womack and Albert W. Adams, all of Danville, Virginia; four aunts, Sara Womack, Bessie Womack, Flossery Royal, and Frances Adams; an uncle, Charlie Adams; seven nieces, Debbie, Kim and Ashley Adams, Elaine T. Davis, DeSha Stone, Karnesha Gubb, and Renee Womack; eight nephews, Lamont, Lorenzo, Montae, Dontae and Shahem Adams, Dominic Stone, Rico and Richar Womack; special friends, LaTarsha Dixon, Christy McLaughlin, Judy Totten, Michelle Brandon, and her beautician, Joann Saunders; and a host of other relatives and friends.
