Yvonne was born to George and Ethel (Bookout) Townlian on July 1, 1932, in Seymour, Missouri. On January 3, 1953, Yvonne was united in marriage to Wayne Evan Pogue in Boone County, Arkansas. Yvonne and Wayne were blessed with two children, Gerald and Rhonda.Yvonne worked as a nurse's aide for 32 years at Webco Manor in Marshfield, Missouri. Throughout her tenure, Yvonne cared for the elderly and received many awards and accolades for her compassionate and personalized care. Yvonne was a lifelong resident of the Bruner community and was a devoted Christian.Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, George and Ethel Townlian; husband, Wayne Evan Pogue; and son, Gerald Dewayne Pogue. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Baker of Ozark; brother, Gary Townlian and his wife Bonnie, of Seymour; and sister, Wilma Smith of Kansas. Yvonne leaves behind a host of extended family and friends.Graveside services for Georgia Yvonne Pogue will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, 1:00 pm, at Union Chapel Cemetery near Fordland, Missouri. Yvonne will be laid to rest next to her husband, Wayne.Arrangements have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home and Life Tribute Center in Ozark, Missouri.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
