Born on October 17, 1942, in Plano, Texas, Georgia lived a full and vibrant life rooted in faith, family, and a love for adventure.A proud graduate of Grand Prairie High School in 1959, Georgia went on to attend Texas Women's University in Fort Worth. Her sharp intellect and analytical mind led her to a successful career at General Motors, where she worked as a Purchasing Agent in auto manufacturing. She retired in 1994 after many years of dedicated service.Georgia's life was centered around her family and her faith. She was a devoted member of Bright Star Baptist Church and found strength and guidance through her Baptist beliefs. Known for her warm hospitality and culinary talents, she delighted in cooking for her family and friends. Her kitchen was often filled with the aroma of home-cooked meals and the sound of laughter from loved ones gathered around the table.An adventurous spirit at heart, Georgia enjoyed traveling to casinos and cherished playing cards with her grandchildren. These moments of joy and connection were a testament to the deep bond she shared with her family.Georgia is lovingly remembered by her son Michael Dennis Hatfield (Eva); two daughters, Debra Lynn Pruyn (Steve) and Donna Jo Lee (Vaughn); seven grandchildren-Melanie Mullin, Phillip Summers, Eric Summers, Ashley Summers, Crystal Rushing, Kacy Dixon, and Dylan Vogt; and fourteen great-grandchildren-Seth, Abigail, Adasyn, Payton, Owen, Embry, Paisly, Finley, Gray, Hailay, Landry, JJ, Oakley, and Bodhi. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Linda Stanley and a host of nieces and nephews who will forever cherish her memory.She was preceded in death by her parents E.L. Stanley and Willie Grace Renfro Stanley; brothers Ervin "Ed" Stanley Jr., Joe Stanley, and Robert Stanley; and sister Margie Ann Davison.Georgia's legacy is one of love, resilience, and devotion to those she held dear. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday March 11, 2026, from 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM at Mullin Fuller Funeral Home Chapel 205 Corky Boyd Ave. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.In place of sending flowers, contributions may be made in Georgia's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.Online Donation - St. Jude Research HospitalServices are under the direction of Mullin-Fuller Funeral HomeTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
