Georgia, age 78, of Bossier City, Louisiana passed away on March 7, 2026 at Pilgrim Manor.
She was born on September 20, 1947 in Norfolk, Virginia to Eleanor Virginia Denson and Leviathan Butler Denson Sr.. Georgia spent her life known for way of making people laugh and her endless loyalty.
She worked as a school bus driver and housekeeper for many years and was respected for her work with special needs children and her compassion. Outside of work, Georgia enjoyed cooking, playing pranks on her family and friends, and spending time with loved ones.
Georgia was especially known for her quick and witty personality, her funny jokes, and constant stories. There was always a cup of coffee and a time to be had at Georgias house. She touched the lives of many and will be remembered for her huge loving heart and her big sense of humor. With one joke, she could ease the tension in any room.
Georgia is survived by her daughter, Wendy Dawn Sanders, her son in laws, James Patrick Sanders Jr., and Steve Allen Rovell. Her siblings, Linda Fuller, Vicki (Hull) Kerley, Bootsie Denson, David Denson, and Kenny Denson. Her grandchildren, Madyson Sanders and Corey Pippenger. Her great grandchildren, McKinley Pippenger and Keian Pippenger, and her many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eleanor Denson and Leviathan Denson Sr. Her husbands, Odis Don McWilliams and Donald Farmer. Her daughter, Angela Gwen Rovell, and her grandson, and Caleb Pippenger.
A memorial service will be held on March 13, 2026 at 1:00 at Aulds Funeral Home. 7849 E Kings Hwy Shreveport, Louisiana, 71115.
The family would like to thank the staff of Pilgrim Manor and all family and friends for their care and compassion.
Georgia will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
