Girard, OH
Georgia L. Streamo, 81, of Girard, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, March 12, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born on December 13, 1944, in Youngstown, she was the daughter of George and Margaret Levero Pagano. Georgia graduated from Niles McKinley High School in 1962 and briefly attended Trumbull Business College. She worked at Shepard and Morse lumberyard in Austintown, and later part-time at her brother’s Subway sandwich shop and tobacco store. Above all, she cherished her role as a devoted homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother.
She married Donald R. Streamo on August 20, 1966, and together they shared a loving marriage until his passing on April 17, 2008. A longtime member of Saint Pope John XXIII Parish – Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Niles, Georgia found joy in casino trips, bowling, bingo, yard work, dining out, family gatherings, and cheering on her children and grandchildren at their sporting events, especially her grandson’s baseball games.
She is survived by her children, Margaret “Maggie” Streamo of Girard, Donnie Streamo of Girard, and Christopher (Patty) Streamo of Niles; her brother, Mathew Pagano of Niles; and three grandchildren, Emma Fusselman, Jordon Streamo, and Angela Thompson. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Quinn. Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Christine Marie Streamo, and her sister-in-law Dawn Pagano.
