Georgette Tymchyshyn Selvaggi

Georgette Tymchyshyn Selvaggi, 82, of Mountville, passed away on March 10, 2026, at Prisma Health Laurens County Hospital. Born in Suffern, New York, she was the daughter of the late Gregory and Eva Smith Tymchyshyn.

Georgette worked as a Security Guard Supervisor for Timken. A longtime resident of Mountville, she was an active member of the Joy Luncheon and the Red Hat Ladies’ Group, where she formed deep and cherished friendships. She also found great joy and community among the ladies of Mountville Baptist Church. An avid animal lover, she took special delight in her role as “Nanny” to her granddogs, who brought her constant happiness.

She is survived by her daughter, Nadine Selvaggi; her son, Peter Michael Selvaggi, Jr.; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister; many nieces and nephews; and many dear friends who became chosen family, enriching her life with love and laughter. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a grandson.
