George Wyatt

George Mack Wyatt, 85, of Smyrna, SC passed away March 12, 2026 at home surrounded by family and friends. A member of Canaan UMC, he retired from Eaton Corp., enjoyed fishing, gardening, gem mining, walking, spending time with family. Left to cherish his memory are children; Debbie Stokes, George "Mike" Wyatt (Donna) , James "Doug" Wyatt, and Jennifer Wyatt all from Smyrna, SC. Grandchildren Brandy Reap (Mitchell), Allen Wyatt (Heather), and Kerri Wyatt and 8 great grandchildren. His siblings Faye Mitchell, Ann Pursely (Eddie), Barbara Covington, Brenda Roberts (Joe), Cathy Martin (Larry), Nancy Teater, James Wyatt (Bonnie Jean), and Gary Wyatt. He also had numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Dargin Wyatt and Vera Dover Wyatt, his wife Gennie Mae Wyatt, son in law Charlie Stokes, a grandchild Drake Wyatt, a great grand child Hunter Reap, sister's Francis Hartness (Johnny Bob), Linda Wyatt and Dorothy "Dot" Earls (Pete). Visitation will be held Monday, March 16, 2026 at Canaan United Methodist Church from 1-2 pm. The funeral will follow at 2 pm with Rev. Harold Bradley officiating.
