He was born March 28, 1947, in Columbus, Ohio, a son of the late Harold and Marjorie Hanlon. His wife Wanda Elaine Hanlon also preceded him in death along with two sons, Mark Hanlon and George Hanlon, Jr.; one brother Bill Dodson; and one sister, Beverly School.Survivors include four children, Lisa Cremeans (Kodie Pizelli)of Wayne, Melissa Hanlon of Bluefield, W.Va., Michelle Lamont of Columbus, Oh., and Angie Nutt (Steven French) of North Fort Myers, Fla.; eight grandchildren Johnathon Thompson, Alexis Chafin (Austin Ferrell), both of Wayne, Ronald (Chloe) Brewer of Hornell, N.Y., Tyler Brewer of Wayne, Justin Thompson of Zanesville, Oh., Randy Hall (Rebecca Dalla Costa) of North Ft. Myers, Jessie Hall, also of North Ft. Myers, Zachary Hall (Diana Smith) of Lakeland, Fla.; and five great grandchildren Alaina Thompson, Laila Adkins, Kasey Molina, Katelyn Molina, Kiko Molina, and Chelsea Brewer.Also surviving is one brother, Joseph (Joretta) Hanlon of Florida; one sister Laketa Stafford as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements which are incomplete at this time.
