George W. Bolinger Jr.

George W. Bolinger Jr., age 92, of Cortland, Ohio, passed away on March 9, 2026.

Born on August 28, 1933, in Warren, Ohio, George was the son of the late George W. Bolinger Sr. and Martha Bolinger. He was married to JoAnne M. Bolinger, who survives him.

George was self-employed in the used car business, operating Bolinger Auto for many years. A simple man who appreciated the small things in life, he found joy in cars, restoring and working on wrecks, spending time with his family, savoring the quiet at the end of a long day, and sharing one more quick story.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnne M. Bolinger; his daughter, Terri Altman (Ron), and Jill Bolinger; his sons, George E. Bolinger (Sandra), Lee Bolinger (Gwen), and David Bolinger (Lynette); and his stepchildren, Sean Baker and Christopher Baker (Cherie). He was preceded in death by his great-grandson, Owen Jeren.
