George Torres Hernandez

George T. Hernandez, age 86, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. George was born in San Antonio, on February 22, 1940, to Elvira and Guadalupe Hernandez.

George is survived by his loving wife of 64 years: Gloria Hernandez; children: Roger Hernandez (Mercy), Robert Hernandez (Yvette), Elizabeth Rolling (Lee), and Gilbert Serna (Rose); sister-in-law: Mary Ann Cortez; grandchildren: Nathan Hernandez (Esther), Clarissa Hernandez, Erika Hernandez, and Kristina Hernandez; great-grandson: Branden Hernandez; grandnephews: Jason Lee (Amera), Lee Andrew Rolling, Jr.; great grandnephews/grandniece: Jaydon, Jaxon, and Jurnee Lee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services to be announced

Interment with military honors will be on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m., shelter #3.

Services are under the Direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
