George Joseph "Juko" Storey, Jr.

George Joseph “Juko” Storey, Jr. of Morgantown passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 96. Born on July 28, 1929, in Morgantown to the late George Joseph Storey and Edna (Morris) Storey, he was a proud graduate of Morgantown High School. He went on to serve his hometown for more than 26 years as a laborer for the City of Morgantown, quietly contributing to the community he loved through steady work and a deep sense of responsibility.

Guided by a strong Protestant faith, George lived with quiet integrity and genuine care for those around him. He remained closely connected to his family throughout his long life.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Edna J. Storey. He is survived by his cousins, Cheryl Morris, Cathy Shaffer, and Jeanie Trovato, who will carry forward the memory of his steadfast character and the many ways he touched their lives.
