George F. Satterfield

George F. Satterfield, age 92, of Canton, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Rock Creek Manor. A devoted family man, George was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather. He served as past President of the Macedonia Community Club and was the longtime Owner and Operator of the Western Sizzlin Steak House. Above all, he remained a loyal and faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his wife of more than 71 years, Bonnie Satterfield.

George is survived by his son, Stanley L. Satterfield and wife Barbara; daughters, Cheriyl Padgett and husband Wayne, and Kristiena Walker and husband Trey; grandchildren, Amy Jusak (Scott), Tracy Bedgood (Jamie), Hannah Newton Ford, and Dorothy Ingebrigtsen (Jeff); great-grandchildren, Hunter Bedgood, Taylor Bedgood, Kennedi Newton, and Gabbie Ingebrigtsen; great-great-grandchildren, Luke Walker, Levi Walker, and Winston Williamson; sister-in-law, Olga Satterfield; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
