George Brent Hatch

George Brent Hatch, age 80, of Dayton, Idaho, passed away at his home on March 4, 2026. Born on November 22, 1945, in Murray, Utah, Brent entered the world as a miracle baby, weighing just three pounds and nine ounces. He was the beloved son of Erle Brimhall Hatch and Stella Ethel Peterson Hatch.

Those who knew Brent will remember a man whose quiet strength and gentle spirit touched the lives of his family and friends. He lived a full life rooted in the places and people he loved, from his early years in Utah through his many years in Idaho.

He is survived by his loving family, who will carry forward the memories of his warmth, resilience, and the remarkable story of his beginning. A graveside service to honor his life was held at the Dayton Idaho Cemetery.
