George Adomaitis

d. 2026

Willowick, OH

George Adomaitis, age 93, of Willowick, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, just two days after celebrating his 93rd birthday. Born on March 13, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Alex and Eva (née Weiss) Adomaitis, he lived a life marked by steadfast dedication and a generous, servant’s heart.

George retired from Ohio Bell/AT&T after 35 years of loyal service. He found deep fulfillment in volunteering with the Toys of Love charity, where he devoted countless hours restoring toys to bring joy to children in need. He enjoyed simple pleasures, regularly playing cards, golfing, and bowling with friends, and he kept his mind sharp by working on crossword puzzles nearly every day. Above all, his greatest joy came from his family. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones and lit up with special delight whenever his great-grandchildren were near.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda (Daniel) Maloney, and his son-in-law, Louis Cirino. He was a cherished grandfather to Alysia Cirino (Clayton Davis) and Vince (Rachel) Cirino, and a proud “Big Papa” to his great-grandchildren, Dawson and Joni. He also leaves behind his dear cousin, Pat Healy. George was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gloria Adomaitis (née Chiccola), his daughter Laura Cirino, his grandson Kevin Maloney, and his brother Alex Adomaitis.
