He was predeceased by: his sister Jackie Appiarius. He is survived by: his children, George Blake, Brian Blake and Tracy Franco (Nicholas Franco); his siblings, Charles Blake (Catherine Blake), Joseph Blake and Helen VanSchaick (Walter VanSchaick); and the mother of his children Celeste Lokos.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home (1735 NJ-35, Middletown Township, NJ 07748).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George's memory to the ASPCA in honor of his love for animals.
