Georgan Therese Werry

Georgan Therese Werry, née Starks, passed away on March 10, 2026. Born on April 22, 1939, in Amherst, Wisconsin, she grew up in a close-knit family alongside her brother Conrad Starks and her sister Noell Trezbitowski. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Theresa (Kubisiak) Starks.

Georgan is survived by her devoted husband of 68 years, Merle Werry. Their love story began at Allen Bradley in Milwaukee, where they met shortly after she moved to the city to pursue a career in the medical field. They married on June 21, 1958, and built a life together grounded in faith, family, and unwavering love. Georgan embraced motherhood wholeheartedly, raising her family with joy and dedication, and later cherished her roles as grandmother and great-grandmother.

She found great pleasure in gardening, especially tending to the treasured flowers passed down from her mother and grandmother. An avid reader, she enjoyed many years of fellowship through book clubs. A gifted baker, she delighted in trying new recipes and always had a homemade dessert ready for Merle, with her famous Christmas coffee cakes beloved by her family.

Georgan is survived by her children, Jay Werry, Kay Schroth, Toni Baliciunas, and Kelly Tschudy; her grandchildren, Shawn Schroth, Jason Werry, Shannan Larson, Jeffrey Werry, Gabrielle Werry, Jessica Hansen, Derek Baliciunas, Jacob Tschudy, and Jared Tschudy; her great-grandchildren, Jayden, Ryan, Rosealee, Brandon, and Emilia; and her beloved dog, Bailey. Her warmth, creativity, and gentle spirit touched all who knew her, and her memory will remain a lasting blessing in the hearts of her family and friends.
