Genowefa Nawolski

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Genowefa Nawolski of Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 7, 2026 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Siwik and Helena Siwik (Sutkowska); her husband Joseph K. Nawolski; her daughter Maria Teresa Tyszka; and her sister Cecylia Olszewska.

She is survived by: her son Andrew Urbanowicz (Raelene) of Holyoke; her grandchildren, Sylvia Sullivan, Monika Almodovar, Yvonne Urbanowicz, Adam Urbanowicz, Andy Tyszka and Adam Tyszka; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Alexander, Zofia, Amelia, Elia, Luca, Julita and Arthur.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home (2049 Northampton St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Cross Church (Holy Cross Ave, Holyoke, MA 01040). A burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at the Mater Dolorosa Cemetery (152 Pittroff Ave, South Hadley, MA 01075).
