Geneva R. Evans

Geneva R. Evans, 86, of Muncie, passed away on March 13, 2026, at The Woodlands.

Born on May 22, 1939, in Albany, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Kelly and Myrtle (Beaty) Flowers. She graduated from Clinton County High School and devoted her life to her family as a dedicated homemaker, raising her four sons. Geneva cherished every moment spent visiting with her children and grandchildren. She found great joy in painting and ceramics throughout her life. In her final three years at Ivy Court in The Woodlands, she delighted in playing bingo, enjoying popsicles, and having her nails painted.

She is survived by her children, Brooks Evans (wife, Debbie), Greg Evans (wife, Kristin), and Gale Evans; her grandchildren, Landon Evans (Amy), Ashley Rayle (Seth), Lindsey Robertson (Jeff), Kyle Evans (Brittany), Eli Evans, Sarah Evans, and Mason Evans; her great-grandchildren, Josie, Jackson, Lincoln, Gracen, Franklin, Waylon, Griffin, Zoey, and Austin; her sisters, Katherine McNeese and Judy Parrigin; her brothers, Kelly Lee Flowers and Kenneth Flowers; and several nieces and nephews.

Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, David Landon Evans, on May 10, 1983; her son, Darrell Evans; her sisters, Carolyn Beaty, Juanita Stewart, and Mary Crockett; her brother, James Billy (“JB”) Flowers; and her parents.
