She was born on January 16, 1947, to Jarvis and Rosa Fields and was the "baby" in a family of ten siblings.Jenny was married to the love of her life, Wayne Lane, for 61 years until his passing in 2023. Together, they built a life centered around family and faith. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who was happiest when surrounded by her family.Jenny will be deeply missed by her daughters, Jenifer Sapuppo and Dana Downing; her grandchildren, Joshua (Ashton) Odom, Amanda Downing, Richard (Tibor) Downing, and Madeline Sapuppo; great-granchildren, Riley Odom and Braylon Odom; her sisters, Rhoda DeMelio and Marilyn Berns; and her sister-in-law Sheri Holder.She was preceded in death by her parents, Jarvis and Rosa Fields; her beloved husband, Wayne; and children, Wayne Herndon and Carol Odom.Those who knew her will first remember her for her kindness…. with a smile and willingness to help. She will also be remembered as a person that was always on the go, working on something. Whether working in her yard, or a project in the house, or helping a friend who needed her assistance, she didn't stop until the task was finished.Jenny's life was marked by devotion to her family, her faith, and dear friends.
