She was born in Johnson Co., KY on June 13, 1930 to the late Arby and Etta Daniel. She is survived by her son, John W. (Holly) Rice, Jr., of Lancaster, OH; her grandchildren, Alison M. Honert, Daniel (Jaime) Rice, Rachel Rice, and Joseph A. W. (Jenny) Rice; and two-great-grandchildren, Macauley Rice and Jordan Rice.She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Tom and Carol Preston, Ed Preston, Steve and Sally Daniel, David and Ellen Daniel, Larry and Leslie Castle, Peggy Wegener and Cheryl Brush; her dear friend, Susan Reynolds, and special best friend, Debbie Tucker.Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, John Wallace Rice; her siblings, Mitchell Daniel, Marshall Daniel, Harmon Morris Daniel, Bruce Daniel, Murial Castle, and Marie Vance.Many thanks to Reflections Retirement Community for making Geneva feel at home.Mom, Momo, Aunt and Friend.A life of giving.A life of love.A life that will be missed by us all.A graveside service will be held at Bracken Memorial Cemetery on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at 2:30pm.Memorials are suggested to Bracken Memorial Cemetery or Pickering House, 282 Sells Rd., Lancaster, OH 43130.Condolences may be sent to www.MooreAndParkerFH.comTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
