Geneva Bernice Lawrence

Geneva Bernice Lawrence, 69, of Ackerman, Mississippi, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Baptist Medical Center in Columbus, Mississippi. Born on August 16, 1956, in Choctaw County, Mississippi, she was the daughter of Lois Stephenson and Bernice Francis Stephenson.

Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Bernice Stephenson, and her siblings, William “Red” Stephenson and Alinda “Tooka” Yates. She is remembered as a devoted mother and grandmother whose love for her family remained steadfast throughout her life.

She is survived by her children, Margaret (Ronnie) Lawrence, Robert (Regina) Lawrence, Edward Lawrence, and Santana (Cedric) Lawrence; her grandchildren, Robert “Tank” Lawrence, Jakobi Townsend, and Tamara Hill; and her siblings, Margaret Miller, Dorothy (Frank) Carter, Jeanette Cobb, Catherine Stephenson, Tracy Robinson, Tammy Robinson, Trinis (Felica) Robinson, and Henry Stephenson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
