He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Sayers, Sr. and Janet Sayers (Kennedy); and his siblings, Clinton Sayers, Jr. and Carol Sayers. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Sayers (Stratton); his children, Gene R. Sayers, Jr. (Anna M. Sayers) of Royersford and Traci L. Pawling (Brian R. Pawling) of Oley; his grandson Jackson H. Pawling; and his stepgrandchildren, Christopher and Kaleigh White.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Faith Evangelical Congregational Church (400 N Temple Blvd, Temple, PA 19560). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 9:45 AM at the same location.
