Gena Rena Renner, 59, of Vinemont, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Brookwood Hospital. Born on January 16, 1967, to Eddie Earl and Emma Lena Jennings Walker, she was baptized at St. Paul’s in her early years.
Gena found deep joy in tending her yard and flowers, crocheting, and cooking. Those who knew her described her as an angel on earth, a loving presence whose warmth touched everyone around her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Earl Walker; her son, Lonnie Ian Waldon; and her brother, Scottie Walker.
She is survived by her mother, Emma Walker; her daughter, Sierra (Aaron) Roets; her sisters, Sherri (Marty) Crawford and Melinda Walker Wright; her grandchildren, James Briar Garrison, Tatum Rena Garrison, and Barrett Ian Walker; and many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends who will cherish her memory.
