Franzen (Wendy Fletcher Franzen); his grandchildren, William T. Franzen and Hannah M. Franzen; and his siblings, Gary L. Franzen (Beverly), Kathleen "Kathi" A. Swanson (John) and Todd E. Franzen (Pam).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wenban Funeral Home (320 Vine Ave, Lake Forest, IL 60045). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Patrick Church (991 S Waukegan Rd, Lake Forest, IL 60045). A reception will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Exmoor Country Club (700 Vine Ave, Highland Park, IL 60035).
