Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Gayle leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Faulkner and Florence Faulkner. She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Kosalko; and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Retzloff (Georg) and Margaret Kosalko (Jeff). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her feline companion.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Baran Funeral Home (1235 119th St, Whiting, IN 46394). A prayer will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (1849 Lincoln Ave, Whiting, IN 46394).
