Gay H. Greene

Gay H. Greene, age 85 of Dandridge, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026 at his home.

He retired from BASF in 2001, after forty years of service. He enjoyed playing and watching sports, gardening, and fishing; and was a member of Shady Grove Church.

He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Nancy Buckner Greene; daughter, Deborah (Steve) Pressley-Gordon; grandson, Aaron (Cori) Pressley; great-grandchildren, Grayson & Neely Pressley; chosen son, Danny (Cathy) Causey; as well as several nieces & nephews in Asheville, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wade & Elizabeth Greene of Mars Hill, NC and sister Hazel (Millard) Roberts.

A Celebration of Life will take place at 3:00PM, Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Shady Grove Church with Rev. Dr. Jason McIntosh officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
