He was predeceased by: his parents, O. A. Bracknell and Flora Shirley Bracknell; and his siblings, William Robert Bracknell (Jack), Gerald A. Bracknell (Cooter), Carolyn Bracknell Allen and Sabra Bracknell Glasscox.

He is survived by: his significant other Brenda Tidwell; his daughter-in-law Anita Tidwell Latta; his grandchildren-in-law, Jaclyn Adams (Travis), Taylor Latta and Trey Latta; his brother-in-law Paul Glasscox; and his nieces, Kelli Patridge (Jacky), Kathi Glasscox and Kristi Henderson (Michael). He is also survived by Nephews and Niece.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mountain Pointe Ministries (47350 US-231, Oneonta, AL 35121). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to Mountain Pointe Ministries.
