Gary Stephen Roan, age 76, passed away on March 15, 2026, at his home. Born on February 6, 1950, to Elmer and Idris (Borton) Roan, Gary grew up in Hudson and graduated from Hudson High School in 1968. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy until his honorable discharge in 1972.
Following his military service, Gary worked as a screw machine operator at M&S Manufacturing and later retired from Alpine Manufacturing in 2015. He was a devoted father whose greatest joys came from his family.
Gary is survived by his sons, James (Andrea) Roan, John (Kelly) Roan, and Joseph Roan; his special friend, William Osgood; his sisters, Susan (Michael) Marry and Tina (Steve) Snider; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Lurly Roan, and the mother of his sons, Patricia Roan.
