Gary Ray Legg

Gary Ray Legg, 79, of Hines, passed away on March 10, 2026, at Peyton Hospice House in Lewisburg. Born on January 5, 1947, in Rupert, he was the son of the late David Allen Legg and Texie Gaye Hamm Legg.

A dedicated coal miner for 40 years, Gary found great joy in the outdoors as an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a devoted family man whose love for his wife and children remained steadfast throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Kasey Malcomb, and his siblings, Karen McClelland, Veljean Heaster, Robert Legg, and Jimmy Legg.

Gary is survived by his wife, Dolores; daughters, Kerry (Alex) Laino, Nancy (Stephen) Midkiff, and Cherie Keener; sons, Paul (Wendi) Kirk, Eric (Jennifer) Franklin, and Joey Legg; siblings, Kenneth Legg, Frankie Legg, Nancy Zimmerman, and Veretta Price; grandchildren, Derek, Erin, Kelsey, Christopher, Olivia, Layla, Josh, Paris, Kayden, Paul III, Courtney, Brian, and Kaitlin; many great-grandchildren; and his nephews, nieces, extended family, and friends.
