Gary R. Johnson

We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2026, at the age of 81, Gary R. Johnson of Pecatonica, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gary R. Johnson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond J. Johnson and Marjorie L. Johnson (Eickman); and his wife Julia Roskam. He is survived by: his children, Jim Johnson (Peggy), Lori Cart (Tim) and David Johnson (Tea); his grandchildren, Katelyn Hergert (Brandon), Jack, Claire, Eva and Maksim Johnson; his great grandchildren, Camden and Charlotte Hergert; his friend Betty Michles; his brothers, Lynn and Steven Johnson; and his grandson Benjamin Johnson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Genandt Chapel (602 N Elida St, Winnebago, IL 61088). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Middle Creek Presbyterian Church (12473 Montague Rd, Winnebago, IL 61088).
