Gary R. DiBlasi, 72, of Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 11, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Pocono Hospice House in East Stroudsburg.
Born on October 22, 1953, in Staten Island, New York, Gary was the son of the late Victor DiBlasi and the late Beverly Kafader DiBlasi. He served for many years as a detective in New York before owning and operating Heading for Home Sports Memorabilia in Brodheadsville during the 1990s. He later worked for Roadway until his retirement. Gary remained a devoted New York Jets and Mets fan throughout his life and found deep joy in music, especially playing the guitar. Above all, he cherished his role as a loving father, grandfather, and friend.
He is survived by his son, Victor DiBlasi and his partner Victoria; his daughters, Tara Bray and her husband Lucas, Devon Westervelt and her husband George, and Tris Wineheart; and six grandchildren, Amelia, Lawson, Ella, Ryder, Lila, and Cole. In addition to his parents, Gary was predeceased by his sister, Victoria Hughes, and his wife, Lynn DiBlasi.
