He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis R. Kemmerlin and Mildred Troutman Kemmerlin; his wife Anna Kemmerlin; and his brother Gregory Kemmerlin. He is survived by: his children, Crystal Moore, Amy Mikesell (Damien) and Patrick Kemmerlin (Margie); his grandchildren, Seth Lee Moore, Lewis Mikesell and Crystina Moore; his brother-in-law Philip Black (Karen); Dennis Kemmerlin (Peggy), Tammy Platt (Charlie) and Ann Kemmerlin (Paul). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (145 Church St, Hilda, SC 29813).
