He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Jane Wolford; his children, Tracey Lynne, Keith Gerhold, Jennifer Kelly, Mike Chmielewski, Kristy Michele and William Ruth; his grandchildren, Shane B, Tori, Amanda, Key, Carley, Shane D, Justin, Paige, Garrett, Shawn and Meaghan; his great grandchildren, Xavier, Kayden and Hazel; and his siblings, Ester Often, Robert Popp Jr., Barbara Miller Popp and Patty Early.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Duda-Ruck Funeral Home of Dundalk (7922 Wise Ave, Dundalk, MD 21222). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
