January 9, 1943— March 11, 2026
Harrison, AR
Gary Lee Taylor passed away peacefully at his home on March 11, 2026. Born on January 9, 1943, to Orie and Leona (nee Hoppins) Taylor, Gary was a man of quiet strength and kindness who was deeply loved by his family and friends.
He served his country as an Army veteran, carrying the values of loyalty and integrity into a 20-year career as an equipment operator in the copper mines of Tucson, Arizona. While his work was steady and skilled, Gary’s true joys were found in simpler things. He was an avid baseball player and fan, loved fishing the quiet waters, and cherished the outdoors while hunting.
Gary is survived by his brothers, Roger Taylor and Terry (Donna) Taylor, who hold dear the many memories they shared. He was predeceased by his sister, Wanda Jean Pennington. Those who knew him will remember a down-to-earth man whose gentle presence, love of the game, and appreciation for nature left a lasting impression on everyone around him.
