Gary Keith Knudson

In loving memory of Gary Keith Knudson of Great Falls, Montana, who departed this world on March 2, 2026 at the age of 89. Gary leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Knudson; his parents, Roy Knudson and Leone Knudson (Knudson); and his sisters, Kay Duvall (Katie) and Margette Booth (Peggy).

He is survived by: his brothers, Ken Knudson (Phyllis) of Las Vegas and Russ Knudson (Diana) of Great Falls, Montana; his children, Stacey Smelser (Kris) of Great Falls and Jay Knudson (Yuka) of Helena, Montana; and his grandchildren, Spencer Smelser (Hannah) of Belgrade, Mackenzie Smelser of Bozeman, Katie Knudson and Jonas Knudson of Helena. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the SideTrack Lounge (3653 9th Ave N, Great Falls, MT 59401).

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Highwood School Foundation, Highwood Fire Department, or Highwood Hall.
