It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Hugo Lukkari (Ontonagon, Michigan), who passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Carol; his father Hugo Lukkari; his stepfather James Robb; his brother Bradley; and his mother Elsa Lukkari (Keranen).
He is survived by: his children, Mike (Darcy), Eric (Annie) and Kristina (Denny); his sister Dianne Bolander (Don); and his grandchildren, Owen, Samuel, Connor, Lily, Collin, Isaac and Ella.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Cane Funeral Home (310 Steel St, Ontonagon, MI 49953). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
