Gary C Redden

Gary Clarkson Redden, born February 2, 1943, in Shady Springs, West Virginia, to Emmett and Wanda Redden, passed away on March 13, 2026.

Gary began his working life at Wheaton Plastics as a blow mold setup man before beginning a 26-year career as a maintenance man at Tropicana Casino. He was a devoted father to his daughters Jeni and Sherry. An avid outdoorsman, he cherished his time in Davis, West Virginia, particularly during hunting season as a longtime member of the Mountain Top Hunting Club. He also looked forward to his Friday nights at the garage and could spend hours sharing stories about his hunting adventures.

Predeceased by his daughter Jeni and her mother Rita Gross, as well as by Mary Lou Glick, Gary is remembered with deep affection by those he left behind. He is survived by his daughter Sherry, grandchildren Abbigail Vu and Owen Hagan, sisters Emma Jean and Betsy, his favorite niece Cindy McFarland, favorite nephew David Tilley, and his best friend Zeke Amatuzio.
