She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Brookshire (Forrest) and V. J. "Jack" Brookshire; her husband Gay N. Baldree; and her daughter Kim Smith. She is survived by: her son Doug; her daughter-in-law Rita Baldree of Diboll; her grandchildren, B. J. (Megan Baldree), Megan Baldree (Alicia Hernandez), Jonathan Smith and Marci (Robert Fenner); and her great grandchildren, Easton Baldree, Paisley Baldree, Kimberly Fenner, Bradley (Jaymee Fenner), Cole Smith, Allee Hernandez, Zackory Hernandez and Maddyson Hernandez.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Memories Memorial Park (5205 S First St, Lufkin, TX 75901).
