Garry “Wayne” Sellers, 76, of rural Bunker Hill, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at his home, surrounded by his wife and children.

Born on June 27, 1949, in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, to George and Georgia (Marsh) Sellers, Wayne married Jean Anna Stevens on March 11, 1967, in Stilwell, Oklahoma. Together they shared 59 years of marriage, faithfully supporting each other while raising their two children and building a lasting family legacy.

A man of deep faith, Wayne was known for his loving and caring nature, always ready to offer encouragement and a helping hand. He raised horses and operated a dairy farm in Farmington, Arkansas, before moving with his family to Hays, Kansas, in 1988. In Kansas he turned his interest to buying and selling antiques.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jean Anna (Stevens) Sellers; his daughter, Cara Lynn (Sam) Dodd; his son, Adam (Patricia) Sellers; six grandchildren, Conor Sellers, Erin Sellers, Shyla (Landon) Rogers, Cami (Colton) Martin, Christian Sellers, and Layne Sellers; eight great-grandchildren; his brother, LeRoy Sellers; his sister, Ellyn Fitzhugh; his sister-in-law, Reba (Dean) Lee; his brother-in-law, Wesley (Lisa) Stevens; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Georgia Sellers; his brother, Bill Sellers; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chester and Lorene Stevens; and his brothers-in-law, Wendell Stevens and Wayne Stevens.
