Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Garrett's life will be held at a later date.Garrett was born April 22, 1999, in Flint, Michigan to Jeffrey and Denise (Neil) Congdon. Garrett was a shining light in the lives of everyone who knew him. Garrett was a graduate of New Lothrop High School, class of 2018, and soon found his place in the workforce at General Motors, working diligently on the assembly line in the automotive industry. Outside of work, Garrett was a passionate gamer and a collector, always on the lookout for the next treasure to add to his collections. He found joy in simple pleasures like playing a round of golf, always with a mischievous grin and a heart full of laughter. Everyone who knew Garrett understood that he was the definition of a true teddy bear in every sense. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, and his compassionate nature made him a beloved figure in the lives of many. Garrett's legacy is one of love, generosity, and unwavering support.
