Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. She was the sweetest woman ever. She was born August 7, 1943, in Stokes County NC, a daughter to Robert Lee Wilson and Ruby Brim Wilson. Garnet moved to High Point in 1968 and worked for many years with Walker Furniture and W&W Upholstery. In 1988, she married Richard Joseph Rash who survives of the residence.Also surviving are three sons, David Nicholson of Silver Valley, Gary Nicholson (Tenna) of Silver Valley and Travis Nicholson (Cheryl) of Liberty; a stepson, Richard "Ricky" Rash, Jr. (Sherry) of South Carolina; a stepdaughter Amy Rash of Reidsville; two brothers, Robert and Doug Wilson both of Madison; ten grandchildren, Tyler Nicholson, Emily Rosenbaum, David R. Nicholson, Krystin Nicholson, Kady Nicholson, Aaron Nicholson, Branson Nicholson, Amber Rash, Linda Rash and Virginia Rash; and nine great grandchildren, Ava, Cora, Lucas, Deborah, Abel, Abigail, Daniel, Arianna, and Ambree. Garnet was preceded in death by sister Elizabeth (Lib) Dalton and brothers Donnie (Quack) Wilson and Ricky Wilson.A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 22, in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point with Mr. Dustin Rosenbaum officiating. The family will receive family and friends prior to the service, from 1:00-2:00 p.m., at the funeral home and also immediately following the service.
