He is survived by: his daughter Tracy Rachelle Burns; his sister Susan Sherman; his grandchildren, Ashley Rachelle Hvamstad (Kolby Hvamstad), Hunter Allen Burns and Chaz O'Shields; and his great grandchildren, Gracie O'Shields, Charlie O'Shields, McKinley Hvamstad, Kaylor Hvamstad and Kutter Hvamstad.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rios Funeral Directors - New Caney (21036 TX-494 Loop, New Caney, TX 77357).
