Gail Patrice Hubbard

Gail Patrice Hubbard (Pfiffner), age 79, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026. Born on September 20, 1946, in Dubuque, Iowa, she was the daughter of the late Cletus Pfiffner and June Pfiffner (Stumpf).

Gail found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved working on jigsaw puzzles, visiting the beach, and hunting for treasures at yard sales. Above all, she cherished her family. Time spent with those she loved brought her the greatest happiness, and her family remained the true joy of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cletus and June Pfiffner, and her brother Richard.

Gail is survived by her beloved husband, Howard Thomas “Tom” Hubbard; her children, Kimberly June Lewis, Richard Bryan Lewis (Linda), Troy Jay Lewis (Amy), Michael Sean Hubbard (Samantha), Natasha Dee Kellogg (Rodney), and Marcus Allen Hubbard (Tawsha); nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren who brought her immense pride and happiness. She is also survived by her sisters, Joy Dowd, Janet Volpe, and Joni Kahrman, and her brother, Jim Pfiffner.

Gail will be remembered for her deep love of family, her warm heart, and the positive impact she made on so many lives through her work as an addiction counselor. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
