Gail Margaret Wisniewski

Gail Margaret Wisniewski, 70, of Menasha, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, while holding her husband’s hand.

Born on February 7, 1956, in Combined Locks, Wisconsin, Gail was the daughter of Sylvester P. “Van” and Anna “June” Van Driel. Shortly after high school, she began working at ShopKo, where she met the love of her life, David “Dave” Wisniewski, in the record department. Their relationship blossomed, and they married on May 25, 1984. For 41 years, they shared a deep companionship, enjoying car shows together and proudly displaying her award-winning yellow Metropolitan.

Gail dedicated 38 years of her career to caring for others as a nurse at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center. In her personal time, she found joy in shopping, going out to lunch, taking drives with Dave, reading, gardening, and being with family and friends. Though she lived with lupus for more than 50 years, she met every challenge with quiet strength, grace, and a warm sense of humor that touched everyone around her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dave Wisniewski; her brother, Rick Van Driel; and many other relatives and dear friends. Gail was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Randy.
