With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gabriel DiMeco Jr. of Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on March 9, 2026 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabriel R. DiMeco Sr. and Susan DiMeco (Amicone); his sisters, Mildred, Eleanor and Adeline; and his daughter-in-law Cheryl DiMeco.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret J. DiMeco (Jacaruso); his children, Gabriel DiMeco III of Wolcott, Michael A. DiMeco of Oakville and Margaret M. DiMeco (Tom McCormack) of Waterbury; his stepgrandchildren, Amanda, Jason and John; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Faith, Bradyn, Skylar, Alice and Jack; and his siblings, Ralph and Susan. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family members and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Roman Catholic Church (785 Highland Ave, Waterbury, CT 06708).
